We loved our fish & chips today. My daughter actually said 'this is the best meal I have ever had in my life' .....can't get higher praise than that! Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend. I cut a piece of the fish off for my son so it was actually bigger than in the photo! Also not all my chips were on the plate at the time!
My friend throughly enjoyed her battered plaice and chips - the Fish Tram Chips restaurant offers a selection of fish, including plaice, haddock, cod, etc., rather than the ubiquitous non specific “fish and chips” offered elsewhere. It was worth the trip to Llandudno to enjoy the delicious freshly cooked, crisp battered plaice, and the excellent chips. A variety of sauces were offered, and served in small bowls brought to the table on request. The service was friendly and efficient, and although everything was freshly cooked we didn’t wait long for our food. All in all, an excellent experience. This is definitely the place to eat if you’re in Llandudno.

After visiting Llandudno for 6 years never been so after reading reviews we gave it a go so glad we did medium cod and chips twice great portions and plenty of chips fish was lovely and fresh tasting .batter light and crispy side order of curry sauce and mushy peas lovely will definitely. Be Popping in again when we visit Llandudno next year
Three plates of the freshest food we had all week in Llandudno! We had small and large cod, regular haddock - all with chips of course - and a serving of squid to share - all amazing - perfectly cooked and simply the best 'proper' chips I can remember ever having anywhere. Friendly attentive service too - can't recommend highly enough - we will be back in 2025!!
We had lunch here over half term and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The food was really good, particularly the children's fish and chips and the fish supper was fabulous value for money.
Great fish and chips! The fish was fresh with a nice crispy batter, and the chips were proper chippy chips—fluffy inside and not greasy. You can tell they use good-quality ingredients. It does get busy, but that’s usually a good sign. Prices are fair for the portion size, and the staff were friendly. Definitely one of the better chippies in Llandudno. Would go again!
